RAPAPORT... South African Minister of Mineral Resources Mosebenzi Joseph Zwane was among the slated speakers at the South Africa Diamond Indaba 2015, which was set to take place in Johannesburg October 27. Other speakers on the conference schedule are local and international diamond exports, according to the event website.

The aims of the conference are to refocus on the ideals and benefits of local beneficiation, uniting stakeholders behind beneficiation of the country’s diamond resources, devising ways of achieving sustainable growth of the diamond beneficiation industry in South Africa and setting out expectations and targets that will allow the country’s diamond industry to become the “heartbeat” of diamond beneficiation on the continent, the website stated.
