RAPAPORT... Compaignie Financière Richemont announced co-chief executive officer Bernard Fornas will exit his role March 31 and stand down from the luxury group’s senior executive committee and group management committee.

Fornas has served as co-CEO with Richard Lepeu since April 2013 and has been a member of the company’s board of directors since September 2013. He will retain his place on the board as a non-executive director and will serve on its nominations committee, the Switzerland-based company said in a statement March 18.

Cyrille Vigneron, CEO of Cartier, will join Richemont’s senior executive from April 1 and will continue his role on the group management committee. Vigneron will stand for election to the board of directors at the next annual general meeting (AGM) to be held September 14.

Meanwhile, Alain Dominique Perrin, a former CEO of Richemont, will not run for re-election to the board at the AGM but will remain as a consultant. Jeff Moss, a computer security and internet security expert, has been nominated for election to the board subject to approval at the AGM.
