Lucara Sets Diamond Tender for November

RAPAPORT... Lucara Diamond Corp. will hold its second “exceptional”
stone tender of 2016 from November 7 to 16, featuring at least 12 diamonds with
a combined weight of about 1,100 carats.
Lucara also completed the first stage of modifications to its
processing plant to upgrade its Large Diamond Recovery circuit. This will
enable the company to process material of up to 90 millimeters in size,
allowing for the discovery of a diamond “of similar size to the 3,106 carat
Cullinan diamond recovered in 1905,” the company said.
The miner found
the second largest diamond in history, the Lesedi La Rona, in November,
weighing in at 1,109 carats. The company's diamond are sourced from the Karowe mine in Botswana.
