RAPAPORT... Rockwell Diamonds is considering offers for some of its assets as the company attempts to improve its liquidity and working capital position.

The South Africa-focused said it it does not need shareholder approval to execute any such deals.

The announcement follows a review of the miner’s operations after disappointing financial results. Chief executive officer James Campbell resigned in September and was replaced by Tjaart Willemse, a former De Beers operations manager. Later in the month, CEO Willemse said Rockwell was in a “state of despair” due to operational and financial management shortcomings.
