Panama Bourse Names Faltz as President

RAPAPORT... The Panama-based World Jewelry & Diamond Hub has elected Edi Faltz as president. 
Faltz (pictured), who has been executive vice president of the bourse since September 2016, is the owner and CEO of Panama City diamond and jewelry company Ten Global, as well as the Diamond Buying Office and the Faltz Diamond & Jewelry Group, both in Israel. He will replace Mahesh Khemlani, who has been president since October 2015.
“Edi… has been committed to the establishment of a diamond,
gemstone and jewelry hub in Panama practically from its very beginning, and has
invested so much personally in the future of the business in this nation and in
several countries of Latin America,” Khemlani said.
The World Jewelry & Diamond Hub, formerly the Panama Diamond Exchange, describes itself as the only recognized diamond bourse in Latin America.
