David Yurman Names Evan Yurman as President

RAPAPORT... Evan Yurman will take over as president of US luxury jeweler David Yurman, the company announced this week.
The current chief creative officer will assume the new role immediately, succeeding Carol Pennelli, who has stepped down as president and chief commercial officer.
Evan Yurman, the son of the brand’s cofounders, has previously led the company’s men’s, wedding, and high- and fine-jewelry businesses. In the new position, he will continue to head its creative expression, in addition to all other company functions, such as commercial oversight and strategic growth plans.
Cofounders David and Sybil Yurman — who are also lead designer and chief brand officer, respectively — will remain as co-CEOs.
“Evan has been working with us for the last 20 years, and we are pleased to have him step into the role of president and lead the company,” said David and Sybil Yurman.
Pennelli will assist the company during the transition. Management has begun a search for a chief operating officer.
