(Rapaport… February 9, 2004) The Israel Diamond Manufacturers’ Association (IsDMA) has elected Moti Ganz, owner of Moti Ganz Diamonds, as its incoming president. Ganz replaces Uri Schwartz, who was elected president in 2001 after having served two previous terms in this position. Ganz has been active in IsDMA since 1989, when he was elected to its executive board. From 2001 to 2002, he served as IsDMA’s deputy president.

Uri Schwartz was elected honorary president, and will continue to serve as a member of the executive board. David de Toledo was elected deputy president, and Shlomo Yovel and Avner Haimov were elected vice-presidents. IsDMA has approximately 200 members and represents the manufacturers who cut and polish about 95 percent of Israel’s total diamond output.
