RAPAPORT... Eira Thomas joined the board of directors of Kaminak Gold Corporation and on March 1 she will succeed Rob Carpenter as its president and CEO. Kaminak Gold also appointed Richard J. Hall and Bradley J. Blacketor to its board today. In addition, Garth Kirkham has stepped down from his board position. Thomas is currently a director with Suncor Energy Inc., Dundee Precious Metals Inc., Strongbow Exploration Inc., Lucara Diamond Corp. and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC). Previously, Thomas was the president, CEO and a director at Stornoway Diamond Corporation and has been recognized as "Canada's Top 40 under 40" and "Top 100 Canada's Most Powerful Women" among many other accolades. John Robins, the chairman of the Kaminak board, said, "I would like to welcome Eira Thomas, Ritch Hall and Brad Blacketor to the Kaminak team. In addition, I would like to personally thank Rob Carpenter for his commitment to Kaminak and the Coffee Project. Rob's passion and leadership have helped guide Kaminak towards becoming one of Canada's most respected exploration companies.
