Zale to Present at CL King's 'Best Ideas Conference'

Brad Furry Joins Zale as Chief Information Officer

RAPAPORT... Zale Corporation's chief administrative officer,  Matt Appel, is scheduled to speak at CL King & Associates' ninth annual "Best Ideas Conference" in New York City on September 13, 2011, at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time. CL King & Associates is  a self-clearing, service-oriented broker-dealer and investment bank.

The Best Idea Conference has more than 90 companies presenting to potential investors.  Appel's presentation will be fed live on line and available in replay at www.zalecorp.com on the investor relations homepage.

In other news from Zale today, the retailer named Brad Furry  as senior vice president and chief information officer, reporting to Appel.  Furry will oversee the company's information technology strategy and operations. Prior to joining Zale, Furry spent 21 years at Neiman Marcus, where, most recently,  he was the vice president of enterprise services.

''I am confident he will elevate the impact of technology on our efforts to return the company to profitability,'' said Appel.
