RAPAPORT... Zale Corporation named Subha Ramesh as its senior vice president for its real estate management team. Ramesh will report to Matt Appel, the company's chief administrative officer.
"We are delighted to welcome Subha to the Zale senior leadership team. The productivity of our real estate portfolio is central to our strategy of returning the company to profitability," said Appel. "Subha's extensive experience in the management of retail real estate portfolios will allow her to immediately begin to articulate and execute our real estate strategy, strengthen relationships with our landlords, and refine and expand our store footprint."
Ramesh joins Zale from Hilco Real Estate where she had served as a senior vice president since July 2010. Prior to that, she spent eight years at the Limited Brands as senior vice president of real estate and as vice president of real estate for Intimate Brands.
