RAPI – RapNet
Diamond Index
The RapNet Diamond Index (RAPI) is the average of the 25 best asking prices for
Round, D-H, IF-VS2, Rapaport Specification 2 or better diamonds, which are offered
for sale on RapNet - Rapaport Diamond Trading Network. While the RAPI indices are
available for 0.30 Ct, 0.50 Ct, 0.70 Ct, 1.00 Ct ,2.00 Ct, 3.00 carat size categories,
the primary index will be for one carat sizes. RapNet has daily listings of over
700,000 diamonds valued over US$5 billion and 6300+ members in over 74 countries.
The RAPI index is published daily and available on the diamonds.net homepage and
can be used by the financial sector to monitor the price of diamonds.
