Rapaport Shanghai Ltd. is now providing diamond import services to mainland China. Foreign companies wishing to sell diamonds to Chinese companies may, upon approval, ship their diamonds directly to Rapaport Shanghai who will then import the diamonds into China. The service has the full support of the Chinese Government and the Shanghai Diamond Exchange. The fee for the service is 1%.
Rapaport Shanghai provides a broad range of additional services to select clients that wish to penetrate the Chinese diamond market. Sophisticated marketing assistance including advertising campaigns, introduction to qualified buyers and access to Rapaport Buyers Group - China is available to select qualified accounts. Rapaport Shanghai can also provide direct sales support including management of client inventory in China. Access to these services is limited to Rapaport approved suppliers.
