MySolitaire Reports 296% Sales Growth in 1Q07

Online jewelry retailer MySolitaire.com had first quarter revenue growth of 296 percent in 2007 compared with the same period in 2006, the company announced without giving total sales figures.
"We had a fantastic quarter where we are above our own internal targets” Amit Jhalani, vice-president and co-founder of MySolitaire said. “We are uniquely situated in the online market, due to our ability to merchandise in many categories”
MySolitaire chief executive officer and co-founder Ashish Jhalani said the company's focus remains engagement and wedding rings.
The website currently has 200-300 different wedding rings on offer and over 50,000 diamonds for engagement rings or loose diamond purchases.
