(Rapaport…August 27, 2005) Jewelry designers Nak Armstrong and Anthony Camargo were nominated by the Council of Fashion Designers (CFDA) and Vogue Magazine for the second annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund awards, the partners said in a press release on August 26.

Anthony Nak Fine Jewelry is one of 10 finalists to be chosen by a committee of industry representatives to win the award of up to $200,000 and is the only accessory line to be nominated. The funds will be used to "further develop the winner's business in areas such as production, sales, marketing and public relations," the designers said.

In June 2005, Anthony Nak Fine Jewelry was awarded the CFDA Swarovski Perry Ellis Award for accessory design. Partners Nak and Camargo are known for their distinct mix of gemstones and 18K and 22K draping gold, platinum and diamonds. The pieces have been featured Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Town and Country, WWD, Glamour, InStyle, Elle, W, Marie Claire, and People, National Jeweler, Basel Magazine, and Jewelry Connoisseur.

Anthony Nak pieces can be found in fine stores in the United States and internationally including in Barneys New York and Neiman Marcus. Anthony Nak was nominated twice for a CFDA Award and won in 2005. The designers are also recipients of the Fashion Group International Rising Star Award for 2003, and the Town & Country Editors Choice Award 2004. Anthony Nak Fine Jewelry flagship store opened in November 2003 in downtown Austin, Texas.
