VNU Expositions announced a new venue for its Wynn Las Vegas 2007 jewelry shows, which run from  May 30 through June 4, 2007. The organizers said that after discussing needs with exhibitors, the   decision was made to  combine the two VNU Expositions Jewelry Group Shows held at the Wynn (The Couture Jewellery Collection & Conference and Signature Salons) into one Couture show.

Additionally VNU reports that Couture 2007 will honor retailer  badges from the Sands Expo shows running concurrently.

"It is our goal to continually listen to the members of the Couture community, both exhibitors and retailers alike, and present a show that addresses the goals of both groups," said  Lee Arevian, vice president of the VNU Jewelry Group.

"This revised Couture show model for 2007 will allow us to continue our success at Wynn during the important buying week while maintaining the standards of excellence that all have come to enjoy, expect and benefit from at Couture."

Arevian said the six-day show will open its doors to a larger qualified audience across the jewelry community in 2007.

"Couture will continue in its mission of having high-end exhibitors and the best retailers in the most elite environment with the finest amenities," VNU reports in the announcement.

VNU contends that "The Signature Salons" name will not disappear, but will instead be re-branded as a new highlight of the Couture 2007 show.
