RAPAPORT... Roberto Coin jewelry manufacturing of Vicenza, Italy, chose retailer Diamonds International to represent the wholesaler's goods on the isle of Malta.

Karl Micallef, director of Diamonds International, said the agreement reflects both of the brands' philosophy of promoting stylish jewelry which stands out in the luxury industry. "Furthermore, Roberto Coin continues to add prestige to the list of jewelry brands exclusively represented by Diamonds International," he said.

In January 2007 Diamonds International partnered with watchmaker the Vacheron Constantin Company and already has agreements in place with Breguet, Audemars Piguet, Maurice Lacroix, Rado, Van Cleef & Arples, and Ebel.

Diamonds International is located at Republic Street, Valletta, and at the Luxe Pavilion, Portomaso, in the Republic of Malta, which lies south of Sicily in the Mediterranean.

Roberto Coin has some 1,200 sales points worldwide together with Roberto Coin Inc., in New York.
