DTC Sales Director Cavanagh to Retire in Sept.

RAPAPORT... Des Cavanagh, sales director of the Diamond Trading Company (DTC,) will retire at the end of September 2007 after 40 years with the company, DTC announced.
Cavanagh joined De Beers in 1977 as a diamond sorter and valuer working in all the company's rough diamond departments. He joined the DTC as an executive in July 2004 as director of purchasing and subsequently took on the role of DTC sales director.
DTC said an announcement would be made shortly regarding Cavanagh's replacement.
