RAPAPORT... Sarin technologies, a manufacturer of technological tools for the diamond industry continues to gain market share India as now a second diamond manufacturer has implemented more than 100 of its rough planning machines at a single plant.
Sarin announced July 2, 2007 that Hari Krishna Exports has put into operation 101 of the machines at its diamond manufacturing facility in Surat, thus becoming the second company to reach such a milestone.
Savjibhai Dholakia, founder of Hari Krishna Exports, was recently in Israel to mark the occasion and will soon receive an honorary plaque in India.
“If technology is not outdated and reinvented every day, it cannot be called high technology,” Dholakia said. “As market opinion leaders, we strive to better our processes, constantly experiment and innovate and keep abreast of the latest technological techniques, to achieve the best results. Sarin Technologies’ machines are an important part of this strategy.”
Sarin chief executive officer David Block viewed the high orders from Hari Krishna as a vote of confidence in Sarin’s products, and said that other companies “are expected to join the Sarin century club in the near future.”
