RAPAPORT... Zalemark Inc. signed a licensing agreement  with lifestyle television host and restaurateur B. Smith to design, develop, and manufacture a women’s jewelry collection under the B. Smith brand name. 

Steven Zale, design director at Zalemark, will manufacture and distribute a B. Smith With Style jewelry collection, incorporating her vision and motto of, “Whatever you do, just do it with style.”

Diane Kelly, chief marketing officer for Zalemark, said,  “Zalemark will work closely with B. Smith to create a compilation of fashion-forward pieces including necklaces, earrings, bracelets, brooches and rings in different mediums, designed to reflect Smith’s international, multi-cultural appeal.” 

The target launch date is early 2009 with several channels of distribution planned. 

Smith is a seasoned culinary expert who was recognized by Elle Décor as one of the nation's 10 most outstanding non-professional chefs, and is the owner of three successful B. Smith restaurants in New York, Washington, D.C. and Sag Harbor, New York. She also launched the B. Smith with Style Home Collection in 2001 and a furniture collection in 2007.

For the past nine years, she has hosted the lifestyle television show, “B. Smith with Style” along with guest segment appearances on programs such as ABC’s “Good Morning American” and “The View” and NBC’s “Today.”
