NY Dealers Club, NYPD Meet to Discuss 47th St. Security

RAPAPORT... Moshe Mosbacher, president of the New York Diamond Dealers Club, and Jacob Weinstock, the club treasurer, met with Raymond Diaz, New York City Police Department (NYPD) assistant chief, to discuss the state of security in the diamond district. On behalf of the club, Mosbacher and Weinstock expressed their appreciation for the long and outstanding positive relationship between the police department and the club. They particularly noted that the police department has always been responsive to the security concerns of club members.  

Mosbacher and Weinstock went on to indicate their interest in several areas that would have a beneficial impact on improving the safety of club members. Chief Diaz reported that he and his colleagues were sensitive to Diamond Dealers Club security interests and he looked forward to cooperating with the club on their shared concerns.
