RAPAPORT... The 17th annual Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show, highlighting magnificent antique jewelry, gemstone and watch collections, will be held from November 13 to 15, 2009 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. This three-day event, organized by dmg world media, promises to bring together more than 100 dealers from the United States, Canada, South and Central America, Europe and Asia.
“We’re excited about the exquisite array of antique and estate jewelry and timepieces being showcased at this year’s show,” said Andrea Canady, the fair director for the Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show. “The Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show kicks off the antique jewelry buying season and our exhibitors continue to exhibit truly spectacular merchandise focusing on the latest trends.” 
Pieces from a variety of historical periods, from Edwardian to Art Deco, will be available at the show, including a pair of emerald and diamond earrings (pictured) from the Victorian era that will be on offer from Hari Jewels of New York. The earrings featur an 11-carat emerald and a 2.1-carat diamonds set in silver and 14-karat gold. Additional exhibitors will include Excalibur of Beverly Hills, California; Pampilonia Jewelers of Washington, D.C.; Namdar Pearls Inc. of New York; and Symbolic & Chase of London.
The show runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on November 13 and 14 and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on November 15. A one-time admission fee of $15 covers admission on all three days of the show. For more information, visit www.dmgantiqueshows.com.
