RAPAPORT... The New York Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) has invited members and their associates to a very important seminar on crime awareness and prevention. The meeting will be held May 5, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. at the Club. Given that members of the industry have recently fallen victim to several major robberies and murders, Club executives urged members to attend the program to learn important safety measures to guard themselves, their families and their businesses.
The DDC will host a special panel of speakers at the event, including FBI special agent Daniel McCaffrey and New York City detective Scott Guginsky, both of whom are actively involved in solving cases and making arrests for crimes committed against dealers and jewelers on 47th Street. John Kennedy and Robert Frank of the Jewelers Security Alliance (JSA) will also speak at the event.
DDC president Moshe Mosbacher urged "that you and your associates attend this important session."
