Arjav Diamonds Launches Online Rough Auctions

RAPAPORT... Arjav Diamonds (India) Pvt. Ltd. has launched its online auctions of rough diamonds. The rough dealer said it is the first rough online platform to be initiated in India.

Registration for the first auction will take place from May 30 to June 7 on the website www.arjavbids.com. The auction will take place on June 9, following an inspection of goods during the preceding week.

“The purpose of this auction is to provide small scale diamond manufacturers access to large stones (between 5-carat and 100-carat) and assisting them by providing Galaxy Inclusion files,” Arjav explained.

The company noted that the inspection of rough will be held in Auro Manufacturing, Surat and that bidding will be done through a secure login once approved by the moderator.

Arjav is a subsidiary of Arjav Diamond Antwerp.
