RAPAPORT... Blue Nile will participate in the 2012 Citi Technology Conference in New York on September 5. The event is created for institutional-level clients of Citigroup. Blue Nile's chief executive Harvey Kanter along with chief financial officer David Binder will lead the retailer's presentation, scheduled for 1:30 p.m. ET. A live audio webcast will be streamed at http://investor.bluenile.com where it will also be archived for 30 days. The 2012 Citi Technology Conference is scheduled for September 4 to 6 at the New York Hilton. There are dozens of companies participating in the conference including Amazon.com, Livingsocial and Groupon.
