RAPAPORT... U.S. Antique Shows will host more than 100 exhibitors at its 20th annual Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show at The Miami Beach Convention Center from October 5 to 7. The  breadth of offerings include vintage diamond rings, bracelets and pendants,  signed pieces by Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany & Co., Boucheron and many other top brands as well as large colored stones and timepieces.

''We are thrilled to start off the antique season in the city that offers the most diverse population of antique collectors in the world,'' said Andrea Canady, the show director. ''We believe that this show will set the precedent for what our dealers have to offer their audience in this unique buying market.''

Additionally, the Gemological Institute of America's (GIA) South Florida Alumni Association will also host a special session on  October 5 at 7 p.m. in room B114, ''Valuing Antique & Estate Jewelry,'' to  introduce attendees to this world of collection evaluation.

''We hope that GIA alumni will register to attend the GIA educational session and learn how to value antique and estate jewelry,'' Canady said.

The Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., but it closes at 6 p.m. on October 7. Admission is $20 to attend all three days.
