Richemont's Head of Fashion and Accessories Resigns

RAPAPORT... Richemont's CEO of fashion and accessories, Martha  Wikstrom, resigned from her post effective immediately, the company reported.

Wikstrom was responsible for transitioning the Swiss luxury group's fashion and accessories businesses and oversaw the strategic development of six of Richemont’s maisons, including Alfred Dunhill, Azzedine Alaїa, Chloé and Lancel. She was initially appointed to the board in 2005 where she served as a non-executive director until 2009, when she became CEO of the group's fashion and accessories division.

Wikstrom will continue to serve as a non-executive director of the board until the company's shareholder meeting on September 12, 2013.
