Press Release: The Diamond Development Initiative (DDI) is pleased to announce that renowned jewelry designer Todd Reed has once again generously donated at the Millennium Star level.

Todd Reed was founded in 1992 with the concept of launching a fine jewelry line designing with raw, uncut diamonds and recycled metals.

"After reviewing the work DDI has accomplished over the last year and assessing its current activities, I did not hesitate to renew my support," said Reed, the president and CEO of Todd Reed Inc. "DDI is an organization that makes a critical difference in the lives of millions of artisanal diamond miners across Africa and South America. I'm proud to continue my support."

"We're thrilled Todd will be a Friend of DDI once again this year," said Dorothée Gizenga, the executive director of DDI. "Receiving renewed support from such a well-respected designer and businessman helps reinforce the value of our organization and more importantly allows DDI to do more good."

There are 1.5 million artisanal diamond miners in Africa and South America; they represent 1.5 million opportunities for development and sustainable economic growth. The Diamond Development Initiative International (DDI) works to transform these opportunities into reality and ensure that diamonds are an engine for change. Our work could not be accomplished without the generous support of industry partners, like Todd Reed, who recognize that diamond miners are important members of the diamond supply family.

We thank Todd Reed for his continued and loyal support.
