RAPAPORT... Platinum Guild International USA (PGI-USA) is partnering with bridal, fashion and jewelry designer Monique Lhuillier to support and promote platinum jewelry. Lhuillier is known for bridal and ready-to-wear collections, but her foray into jewelry began with a collection of platinum engagement rings and wedding bands, which are sold exclusively at Blue Nile and this has expanded into a full fine jewelry line. Four collections appeal to different engagement styles: Romantic, modern, antiquity and tradition. With the PGI-USA partnership, Lhuillier will speak to the qualities of platinum and to why it is her metal of choice.
