ALROSA Names Diamond 'Children of Asia'

ALROSA christened a 207.29-carat diamond after the Children of Asia International Sports Games that are held once every four years in the Republic of Yakutia.

The gem-quality rough measures 38 х 37 х 18 millimeters and is the largest to be discovered at the Zarnitsa mine.

The 6th Children of Asia Games started July 5 under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee, featuring 22 sports. Some 4,000 children from 39 countries are taking part in the event.
