ALROSA Pushes Off Investment-Diamond Project

RAPAPORT... ALROSA has delayed plans to launch an investment-diamond
trading platform on the Moscow Exchange.
The platform, which was initially due to start in late
April, has been postponed until the summer, a spokesperson for the miner told Rapaport
News in an email Thursday.
“The investment diamonds project launch deadline is
postponed in connection with the need to work out its implementation mechanisms
in greater detail,” the spokesperson said. “We are working to address interests
of all market participants and offer a liquid investment and saving mechanism
to investors.”
