De Beers, Alrosa Announce 2018 Sale Schedules

De Beers and Alrosa have released dates of their rough-diamond sales for 2018, with both miners maintaining their usual schedules.

De Beers holds 10 sales, or sights, in Botswana every year, in which it sells about 90% of its rough supply to long-term clients, known as sightholders. Alrosa’s main contract sales are monthly, taking place in Moscow.

De Beers’ final sight of this year will start on December 4, with Alrosa’s beginning the following day.
