RAPAPORT... Vacheron Constantin presented the first seven models of its new collection, titled Harmony, that will be issued in limited editions and commemorate the brand's 260-year history. vacheron

The Harmony collection incorporates cutting-edge technology, stemming from seven years of research and development, according to the brand. Three new monopusher chronographs in the collection are driven by calibers produced by Vacheron Constantin. A first version, equipped with a split-second function, features an ultra-thin self-winding movement measuring just 5.20 mm. thick, while a second model stages a tourbillon and the third variation is equipped with a pulsometric scale. The monopusher chronograph models are complemented by a ladies' double-pusher chronograph.

Vacheron Constantin devised a new construction for the cushion shape that has been part of its range for almost a century. A curved case middle, a square bezel and a round watch glass meet at an elegant reinterpretation of the monopusher chronograph with pulsometric scale that was presented by the manufacturer in 1928.

The watchmaker noted that while the inspiration derived from the original model is immediately perceptible with Harmony, details were rethought, resulting in a unique and unprecedented shape that offers optimal comfort and  readability.
