RAPAPORT... James Avery opened a store in Des Peres, Missouri at 119 West County Center on the upper level across from Coldwater Creek, where the jeweler offers its namesake handcrafted designs. The West County Center location is James Avery’s first in Missouri and the company’s second Midwestern venture following a new store opening in Overland Park, Kansas earlier this year. Chris Avery, the president of James Avery, said, ''We’re very excited to bring James Avery Jewelry to the Des Peres community with the addition of the West County store. We’re pleased to expand into this new market where we believe many people share the same values of our company. This location will make shopping more convenient for our existing customers and allow us the opportunity to introduce James Avery to new customers in the St. Louis area.'' The jeweler will hold a grand opening celebration on September 27 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
