RAPAPORT... James Avery will open a new jewelry store in Laredo, Texas at McPherson Place on April 10. This store  will be the company’s 55th location in Texas. James Avery currently operates 68 jewelry stores across the South and Midwest.

Howell Ridout, the vice president of real estate and development for James Avery, said,  “While searching for our next store location in Texas, we focused on strong and growing areas of the state. The Laredo community is a vibrant market and our on-site visits confirmed our research. The visibility and convenience of McPherson Place in Laredo sealed the deal for us. We look forward to opening soon in this new community.”

James Avery was established as a single shop in 1954 and, while remaining a family-operated business, has grown over the years to now employ a team of 2,000 designers, craftsmen, sales associates and support staff.
