RAPAPORT... Diamond Fields International Ltd. appointed Michael Cuthbert as its new chairman to replace Wayne Malouf who is leaving the company. Cuthbert specialized in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and equity capital markets, with a particular emphasis on the mining industry.

Warner Bruckmann, a geologist with a background in marine sciences, is joining the company's board.
