RAPAPORT... Swiss timepiece manufacturer Bovet 1822 opened its new flagship store at 50 Central Park South in Manhattan on December 12. This boutique is the brand's fourth location after Moscow, Baku and Berlin and sits directly across the street from Central Park in the base of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Bovet 1822 created a new collection, featuring 50 timepieces unique to the New York address and engraved to commemorate the grand opening. These timepieces will not be sold anywhere else. Pascal Raffy, the owner of Bovet 1822, said, ''I am very proud to bring the House of Bovet 1822 to New York where collectors will be able to explore and discover our exceptional creations. To do this, I warmly thank Bovet’s long-time partners, Jeffrey Khalaf and Michael Rosenberg, from The Timepiece Collection for their invaluable contribution to this endeavor.''
