Press Release: Antwerp-based diamond company Rosy Blue has planted 3,000 trees this weekend in Malle, Antwerp. The project was in cooperation with the Flemish organization BOS + and the non-profit organization International Association of Human Values (IAHV). Rosy Blue is a leading company in the field of sustainability and aims to contribute to the environment of Antwerp.
On Sunday, December 14, approximately 30 IAHV volunteers planted 3,000 trees sponsored by Rosy Blue on a 1-acre property in Malle. The planting operation was coordinated by BOS +, an organization that is dedicated to conserving and increasing forests in Flanders and beyond. Five native tree species were chosen to create a diverse and beautiful forest: oak, maple, elm, alder and beech.
Young IAHV volunteers physically planted the trees. Through this cooperation, Rosy Blue hopes to raise awareness amongst young people and highlight the importance of ecology for future generations.
