Indian Trademarks Update: Bhawana G Jewels, Lalit Gems Co. and Others

RAPAPORT... India’s Office of The Trade Marks Registry approved this month the trademark “A Classique Heritage belonging to Mumbai-based Bhawana G Jewels with the registration number 2145533. The trademark refers to precious metals and alloys, goods coated with precious metal alloys, jewelry and jewelry made with precious stones or diamonds. The trademark falls under the Class 14 classification system.

Surat-based Roseate Jewels received a trademark from the registry for “Roseate Jewels,” with the registration number 2539654. The trademark refers to the manufacturing and trading of precious metals and their alloys & goods, diamonds, precious and semi-precious gemstones, gems & jewelry and watches. Roseate Jewelers has been using the trademark commercial since September 15, 2011. The mark comes under Class 14 of the classification system.

Lalit Gems Co., a Mumbai-based diamond jewelry importer and exporter, received approval from the government registry for the trademark “The Lalit Gems Co, with registration number 2057169. The trademark refers to diamond jewelry and comes under Class 14 of the classification system. Lalit Gems has been using the trademark in commerce since June 1, 2007.

The Trade Marks Registry granted Shree Rajendra Jewellers approval for the trademark “SRJ Shree Rajendra Jewellers,” with registration number 2172315. The trademark refers to diamond jewelry and other precious jewelry and comes under Class 14 of the classification system. It has been in commercial use since April 1, 2006.

Tamil Nadu-based Gopaldas Diamonds received approval from the government registry for the trademark “S (label),” with registration number 1555267. The trademark is for use with respect to precious gemstones and comes under Class 14 of the classification system.

The Trade Marks Registry granted the application by 3D Hard Gold Jewellers for the trademark “3D Hard Gold,” with the registration number 2109973. The trademark is for use with respect to gold and diamond jewelry and other precious gemstones and comes under Class 14 of the classification system. It has been in commercial use since April 1, 2009.
