RAPAPORT... Stornoway Diamond Corporation said Robert Chausse will leave the
company after less than a year as chief financial officer (CFO) as he plans to
pursue other career opportunities.
The miner intends to appoint a new CFO by Chausse’s
departure date March 1, chief executive officer Matt Manson told Rapaport
News. Chausse (pictured) joined Stornoway on April 1.
The Québec-based group owns the Renard mine, which opened in
October and is projected to produce an average of 1.8 million carats per year
for the first decade. The company held its first diamond sale in November.
