Royal Asscher Launches First Amsterdam Store

RAPAPORT... Royal Asscher has opened its first Amsterdam boutique in
partnership with luxury retailer Schapp Citroen, the diamond
company said Monday.
The store — in the PC Hooftstraat shopping area — has
two floors featuring the brand’s diamond-jewelry collections, as well as stones
in the Amsterdam-based company’s Royal Asscher and Royal Asscher Brilliant cuts.
“Royal Asscher has always played an important role in setting the
Amsterdam diamond industry on the world stage,” said Mike Asscher, vice
president of Royal Asscher. “We are proudly Dutch. It is another milestone in
our 164-year history to be able to open a retail experience in Amsterdam, the
original city of diamonds.”
Royal Asscher sells its diamond jewelry collections in more than
150 locations worldwide.
