US-Based Indian Trade Group Gets New Leaders

RAPAPORT... The Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association (IDCA) has elected Rajeev Pandya to succeed the outgoing Haridas Kotahwala as president, the organization said Wednesday.

Pandya, a partner in Ashi Diamonds and the former vice president of the group, was voted in as president at the New York election on December 2. Members chose Shailesh Jhalani of Prompt Gem Importers as vice president.

The board’s executive committee will also include Rutali Gandhi of Sagar Star Corp. as secretary and Aniket Parikh from Terra Cor Diamonds as joint secretary. Sailesh Lakhi of Sparkles and Colors USA will be treasurer.

IDCA members also reelected the following directors:

Navneet Chordia of Galaxy USA
Kailash Rawat of Rawat Gems
Vibhor Saraf of Trillion Emerald
Anshal Shah of Suraj Impex
Vipul Shah of Glory Gems

The following people were newly elected as directors:

Manoj Bhandari of RMC Gems
Vinit Jobanputra of Sanghvi Diamonds
Nimish Mehta of Atit Diamond Corp.
