The organizer of Inhorgenta Munich has delayed the exhibition by two months amid Covid-19-related travel restrictions.

The gem, jewelry and watch show, which was originally scheduled for February 11 to 14, will now take place from April 8 to 11 in the German city, coordinator Messe München said Tuesday.

“We had many discussions with our exhibitors before making this decision,” said Klaus Dittrich, CEO of Messe München. “We want to ensure more clarity for them, as well as for visitors.”

Exhibitors are still interested in attending the show and members of the industry want to meet and network, Dittrich explained, noting the new date provided them with a more reliable alternative.

“Our main concern is to create the best conditions for our customers for successful networking, for inspiration and for business success,” added Inhorgenta exhibition director Elena Jasper. “With the new date, we are doing just that.”
