RAPAPORT... The first China-Israel Diamond Week will take place in Shenzhen in April.

The event — organized by the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE), the Shanghai Diamond Exchange (SDE) and Guangdong Land Holding — will include a seminar, the signing of a memorandum of cooperation, visits to diamond-jewelry manufacturing facilities, and networking events.

The show will also feature a sales meet, where Israeli exhibitors will present their diamonds to Chinese buyers.

“The China-Israel Diamond Week brings the close relationship between the IDE and the SDE to an even higher level,” IDE president Yoram Dvash said Monday. “This is the IDE’s first solo exhibition in China. It is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure in this most important market, and we are very excited.”
