The Plumb Club has opened up membership to companies that provide services to the jewelry and watch industry, admitting Gemological Science International (GSI) as the first organization in the new category.

GSI operates 13 gemological laboratories around the world, offering grading reports for both natural and lab-grown diamonds, colored jewelry and gemstones.

Meanwhile, Chic Pistachio, the parent company of jewelry brands Ania Haie and Aurelie Gi, has also joined the industry organization, The Plumb Club said Wednesday. Membership of the group will enable the business to further its US expansion plans, it noted.

“We are thrilled to welcome Chic Pistachio and GSI, our first service organization, to our membership,” said Sam Sandberg, president of The Plumb Club. “Both companies were highly recommended and underwent a significant vetting process to ensure a good fit with our vision.”

The additions bring The Plumb Club’s membership to 47 businesses, representing more than 100 brands, the organization added.
