RAPAPORT...
Boaz Moldawsky has been elected president of the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) for a three-year term, succeeding Yoram Dvash.

Moldawsky, who has previously served as vice president of the IDE, won after two rounds of voting, the IDE said Sunday. The co-CEO of the Moldawsky Group, a diamond-manufacturing and trading company, has also been chairman of the Israel Diamond Institute (IDI). Although he was elected to a three-year term at the IDI in 2019, he resigned in November 2020 and was replaced by Dvash.

The IDE also elected 16 additional members to its board of directors, the bourse noted.

“The members of the diamond exchange have chosen an experienced and responsible management [team],” said Moldawsky. “It is an honor and privilege for me to lead the exchange in the coming years, and especially during such a complex and challenging period for the industry. The diamond exchange represents a key sector of the Israeli economy and I am convinced that we will bring it renewed growth.”
