RAPAPORT... Effy Jewelry of New York turned to cloud-based predictive marketing firm AgilOne to improve its use of analytics and customer trends through the provider's data platform technology. The jeweler stated, using AgilOne Enterprise Edition allows it to create high-touch campaigns that better represent its image as a quality jewelry brand.

“Effy jewelry is defined by superior craftsmanship, thoughtful design and meticulous attention to detail and we want our marketing efforts to match the quality of our brand,” said Jennifer Pearson, the vice president of marketing at Effy Jewelry. “Our main marketing objective is to understand our buyers at a deep level and provide them with the luxurious buying experience that they deserve. AgilOne will enable us to create custom recommendations for our shoppers based on their past buying patterns that will help us grow our potential customer lifetime value in the long-run.”

Pearson stated that brick-and-mortar store sales are healthy; however,  only a small percentage of its sales are conducted online, representing a huge, relatively untapped opportunity to grow its repeat, high-value customer base. With AgilOne, Effy can effectively engage with customers across multiple channels in a coordinated fashion – from email to website to physical stores. Prior to using AgilOne, Effy claimed to not have conducted targeted post-purchase campaigns with its customers.

According to AgilOne, its typical enterprise customer experiences 300 percent higher margins. “Just as Effy focuses on creating quality jewelry that will last a lifetime, we focus on delivering an unparalleled analytics platform that lets our customers literally transform their marketing processes,” said Omer Artun, the CEO of AgilOne. “It used to be that you had to be a Fortune 50 company with a huge data science team to benefit from analytics, but that’s no longer the case. We make it easy for everyday marketers to gain actionable insights to grow their businesses.”

Some of AgilOne's clients include Shazam, Sports Authority, Moosejaw and shopPBS.org and the company is venture-funded by  Sequoia Capital and Mayfield Fund.
