Gem Diamonds Recovers 198ct. Type IIa Diamond at Letšeng

RAPAPORT... Gem Diamonds reported that it recovered a 198-carat,  type IIa diamond from the Letšeng mine in Lesotho at the end of July 2014.

The company explained that the diamond,  is exceptional white and displays no florescence. The diamond is expected to be sold before the end of the year.

“The recovery of this large, high-quality white diamond continues to support the Letšeng mine's reputation as the most important source of exceptional quality, large diamonds,” said Clifford Elphick, the CEO of Gem Diamonds.
