RAPAPORT... Three industry members have found homes in executive
positions at Jewelers’ Security Alliance (JSA), Jewelers Mutual Insurance Group and Royal
Asscher.
Steven Kaiser was elected chairperson of the JSA board,
replacing Stewart Wicht, the recently retired CEO of Rolex Watch USA, who
completed his term. Kaiser will serve a three-year term alongside other board
members, including Alan Zimmer of Reed Jewelers, David Bonaparte of Jewelers of
America (JA) and Stanley Zale of Stuller.
Craig Danforth will be vice president of client solutions
for Jewelers Mutual, developing new opportunities to grow the
jewelry industry, and enhancing the group’s current offering. He was previously
director of global business and development at the Gemological Institute of
America (GIA), and held management roles at Cartier and David Yurman.
Dutch jeweler Royal Asscher has appointed consultant Helen
Dimmick to lead its UK sales and training strategy. She will help the company
develop market-relevant sales, products and training programs that will assist
in customer acquisition, the company said. Royal Asscher, which entered the UK
market in 2018, has tasked Dimmick with increasing local awareness of the
brand.
