Dino Rambidis will replace Orin Baranowsky as chief financial officer of Stornoway Diamond Corporation.

“Dino…is a seasoned leader with extensive financial experience, and is a valuable addition to our leadership team,” Stornoway CEO Patrick Godin said last week.

Rambidis will take up his new position immediately, bringing with him over 30 years  of experience in the financial industry, including his previous role as senior vice president of corporate finance at Fiera Capital. Baranowsky will remain with the company until the end of May to provide support during the transition, Stornoway noted.

Additionally, the Canada-based miner has promoted Annie Torkia Lagacé to executive vice president of corporate development, legal affairs and corporate secretary. She has been vice president of legal affairs and general counsel since 2014.

“[Torkia Lagacé] has distinguished herself through her hard work, her precision and her ability to develop effective strategies,” Godin added. “Her promotion is an acknowledgement of her expanded responsibilities and her perseverance.”
