RAPAPORT... Jewelry Television will use the Experian QAS verification software and service to address validation and ensure the accuracy of incoming customer data, according to Experian Marketing Services.  The products are intended to improve the jewelry retailer's data quality and help access customer information in a single view.

"Data quality is vital in achieving a single view of the customer," said C. Chris Meystrik, the chief technology officer at Jewelry Television. "Having a solid data quality foundation will help us attain one record per customer in our enterprise system, which is very important for customer loyalty programs, data infrastructure, business analytics and other initiatives."

The Experian QAS products will be used in the Jewelry Television's call center and on the ecommerce website.

David Northridge, the vice president of client retention at Experian QAS, said, "Data quality plays a key role in helping retailers understand and effectively communicate with their customers. As a leader in contact data quality, Experian QAS has done extensive research to pursue industry best practices in contact data collection. The tools allow retailers to collect accurate information, no matter the channel."
